The City Sports Center also has a multifunctional sports hall, which can boast of having hosted many names of the world’s handball elite, such as Ivano Balić, Igor Vori, Ivan Čupić and other Croatian representatives preparing for the 2010 World Cup in Makarska. After winning silver at the World Cup, some players returned to Makarska, which hosted the 2010 Croatian Cup Final.

The City Sports Hall is equipped and intended for practicing all indoor sports (dimensions 40x20m). The capacity of the stands is 1050 seats with the possibility of increasing by an additional 500 seats in the event of cultural and entertainment events. The hall is air-conditioned all year round. There is also a small sports hall in the Municipal Sports Center in Makarska, which as a separate facility consists of a 450 m2 hall, a gym (120 m2), two sports warehouses and two changing rooms. It was established as a facility intended for athletes in the preparatory period and for recreation of residents.
